ACCESSIBILITY
All specific requests for accommodations should be made by September 17th. Below are some images and information about each of the different venues.
Carver Recreation Center
The Carver Recreation Center is located at the Jefferson School, in the back half of the building. Just outside of the Center, there is a large parking area, with handicap parking to the left once you enter the parking deck. The school building is equipped with elevators, and ramps, making the Center very accessible for those with different needs. Bathrooms are located in an easy to use area, with handicap stalls available.

Newcomb Hall
Newcomb Hall is located centrally on UVa's campus. Aside from the theater, which is located on the basement floor, a majority of the events for our symposium will take place on the third floor, which can be accessed from the first floor (pictured above) by taking an elevator, or by directly entering the third floor from McCormick Road (pictured to right).
Two parking garages are available for this event. The closest garage, which feeds into the Newcomb's first floor entrance, is the Central Grounds Parking Garage. A second parking location is the Culbreth Parking Garage. There are some handicap spaces on McCormick Road; however, these are not abundant.
